You may come by plane, yacht, or ferry. The easiest is the last of these. Your drive-on (or walk-on) B.C. Ferry makes a pleasant cruise through the Gulf Islands from Vancouver (Tsawwassen Terminal) or Vancouver Island (Swartz Bay, north of Sidney) to Otter Bay on Pender Island.

There are 40 miles of paved roads on Pender, so be sure to get a map from the rack on the ferry.

On disembarking, follow the traffic and road signs past the Driftwood shopping centre down Canal Road to Schooner Way, then Pirates Road. Paralleling the south shore of Magic Lake. Make the first right turn, Cannon Crescent. You're there! Park in front of the high fence gate; we'll accommodate your vehicle.

There are regular float-plane flights from Vancouver to Pender and yachting harbours about the island, all served by taxi.
